Join us for the Chinatown-International District Business Improvement Area (CIDBIA)'s monthly C-ID Community Clean-Up. Volunteers meet in Hing Hay Park on the second Saturday of every month from 10AM-12PM.
We’ll work on litter pick-up in areas with the highest amount of waste based on the CIDBIA sanitation team’s recommendations across Chinatown, Japantown, and Little Saigon. The supplies and list of areas with a map will be provided upon arrival.
Please meetup in Hing Hay Park (423 Maynard Ave S, Seattle, WA 98104) before 9:55am.

Celebrate the Year of the Snake with art activities for all ages with Seattle Chinatown Int'l. Dist. Preservation and Development Authority!
Join us at the Donnie Chin International Children's Park at 700 S Lane St. from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8. There will be egg tarts, lawn games, an art activity, and a book corner to enjoy. There will also be a table from the Department of Licensing with information about the upcoming REAL ID Act with a representative to answer questions about what kind of identification you might need moving forward.

For our February storytime, we’ll be partnering with @kiligseattle! Kilig is a restaurant located in Chinatown-International District that serves modern twists on Filipino classics. We will learn what “Kilig” means in the book, “Kilig, Gigil & Other Uniquely Filipino Words”, written by G.M. Reyes and illustrated by @kimsanti_.
We will be learning about the Filipino words that have no direct English translations (like kilig, gigil, pambahay, pasalubong) with activities inspired by the book, and also crafting Valentine’s Day cards for our loved ones.
