The 2024 International District Table Tennis Tournament will be held at the International District/Chinatown Community Center in Seattle, starting at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2024. Please mark your calendars and plan on joining us for some fun! The purpose of this event is to promote the sport of table tennis (ping pong) to players of all ages and abilities and to raise funds for programming/equipment at the ID/Chinatown Community Center. There will be all-day round robin play- tables set aside for walk-ins, single and doubles- prizes!

Join us for the Chinatown-International District Business Improvement Area (CIDBIA)'s monthly C-ID Community Clean-Up. Volunteers meet in Hing Hay Park on the second Saturday of every month from 10AM-12PM.

We’ll work on litter pick-up in areas with the highest amount of waste based on the CIDBIA sanitation team’s recommendations across Chinatown, Japantown, and Little Saigon. The supplies and list of areas with a map will be provided upon arrival. 

Please meetup in Hing Hay Park (423 Maynard Ave S, Seattle, WA 98104) before 9:55am.

We are Lunch Money, a new non-profit dedicated to anti-bullying activism, is proud to present its first-ever event—Spotlight! This all ages, interactive community fundraiser brings together live music, art, and storytelling to raise awareness and create impact in Seattle Schools.

What to expect:
Live Art Performances – Watch talented local artists create stunning pieces in real-time.
Live Music – Enjoy an incredible lineup of musicians bringing positive vibes to the stage.
Storytelling & Education – Hear real stories and learn techniques on how to deescalate bullying situations from expert Ryan Nakade and other community voices.
Raffles & Prizes – Enter to win awesome prizes!
Games & Auctions – Take a chance with our half-court shot challenge or bid on fantastic auction items!
Mural Signing – Share your story on our anonymous community mural.

Event Schedule:
• 3:00pm - Doors open (raffles, mural signing, half-court shot challenge)
• 3:30pm - Program starts with a short play by local performers
• 3:45pm - 5:00pm - “Deescalating Bullying” talk by expert speaker Ryan Nakade followed by Question panel & guest speaker stories
• 5:15pm - 8:00pm - Live Music Performances by Seiichi, Aryana León, and LCN!
• Live painting by Nikita Ares, silent auction
• 7:00pm - Live DJ
• 8:00pm - Event ends
